Plica carries a folded, textile-like expression that gives the object a clear architectural line. Its textured surface softens the light, creating a quiet and atmospheric presence. The overall character is modern yet restrained, balancing structure and softness.

The light remains diffuse and gentle, spreading evenly across the surface and contributing to a calm spatial mood rather than focused illumination.

Made from a hemp-fiber substrate, Plica gains a granular, tactile texture that defines its appearance. Despite its larger mass, the lamp remains fully bio-based and part of a climate-positive material cycle. During growth, the plant material binds CO₂, resulting in a negative carbon balance of –1.8 kg CO₂.
